Remembering Phil Johnson, 1944-2020

We are saddened to learn that Phil Johnson passed away, a great friend of the Democratic Party and Organized Labor.  Phil's obituary is posted here.I met Phil twenty years ago when I became active in the Winnebago County Democratic Central Committee. I expressed interest in running for office then and he was immediately supportive and offered tips and ideas on local campaigning.
